The Canon Richards Tea Room is the cultural centre of the Peninsula. Housed in the historic confines of the former St. Mark’s Schoolhouse, the tea room serves up timelessly delicious homecooked meals and snacks that will hit the spot. Brimming with history and charm of its own, this is also the place where your Peninsula heritage adventure begins.

Our Hours of Operation:

HOURS OF OPERATION: Wednesday to Saturday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm,

Sunday 12 - 2 pm serving Turkey Jiggs Dinner only

There will be two settings, 12 noon and 1 pm.

Limited space available don’t be disappointed please call 709-786-3355 (Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) to book your spot no later than Friday, 4:30 pm!

Our hearty breakfast is to hearty for some, so we have decided to offer the Seniors Breakfast for $10.00. Note: Any age can have this, just ask your server.

Our menu is made up of place names and one of them is the Happy Jack’s special, a serving of Fish n’ Brewis, Fish Cake and Baked Beans.

Every Friday will be known as Fish Friday, we will be serving a fish dish!
